This new expression of ceramic includes replicas of ancient cultures, Amazon examples, common use objects, urban and conceptual styles, abstract pieces and traditional ceramics of the Andes. The themes go more toward the abstract rather than the traditional technical or classical. The motifs are also related to the myths, sexuality, folclor and natural phenomena.

The contemporary style craftsmen concentrate their efforts on objects such as essential incense burners, hanging mobiles, Puno and Cusco style nativity sets and others.
